WHAT IS HEMP EXTRACT?
CBD is one of over 85 known phytocannabinoids that naturally occur in cannabis plants and stands for "cannabidiol". Hemp Extract is the most prolific cannabinoid found in hemp plants. Hemp plants have very low levelsTHC – less than 0.3%.

A receptor type in the ECS thought to be positioned primarily in the peripheral tissues of the immune system, the gastrointestinal system, the peripheral nervous system and to a lesser degree in the central nervous system.

“Phyto” means plant – Phytocannabinoids are the cannabinoids naturally occurring in plants like hemp. Many plants make cannabinoids, but hemp plants accommodate particularly high amounts of many cannabinoids, with CBD (cannabidiol) being the most well known.

“Endo” means within – Endocannabinoids are cannabinoids produced naturally by cells in the human body.

WHAT IS INDUSTRIAL HEMP?
Industrial hemp comes from the non-psychoactive varieties of Cannabis sativa L, which has 0.3% or less of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Hemp is similar to marijuana, in that they come from the same plant family, but are genetically distinct and are different in their use, chemical makeup, and cultivation methods.
WILL I GET "HIGH" FROM HEMP OIL?
The industrial hemp plant produces such low levels of THC that you, in fact, won’t get high from taking hemp oil. While there are trace amounts of THC in hemp oil, your body couldn’t physically consume the amount of it needed to ever get high.
CAN HEMP EXTRACT CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTIONS?
It is possible to have allergic reactions like most plants. If you’re quite sensitive to many plants and have allergic reactions to them, we recommend consulting with your healthcare professional or allergist before using any new product coming from the cannabis plant.
